: Come on man.. think about it. There's so much ambient heat around there, the gasket is pointless. You should at least realized that, being a fellow mechanic.

well of course, the heat transfer is inevitable in that area, obviously .....the only way this could actually increase anything is by a thicker gasket....but the main reason i was posting it, was to make sure people (no0b-types ) didnt get pulled in by the clean and professional ad they show.

I didn't read it, but if they are thicker than the factory gaskets I'm going to laugh at who ever buys them

I would feel bad if I had to laugh at you

If they are the same thickness and the right material they can work.

Even if they are slightly thicker they could work, but you'd have to do some gasket matching and probably some port matching to make them line up properly.
