Best way to disable Factory Anti Theft

I just bought my first car, a 1992 Maxima SE. The security light on the dash is constantly flashing and the car already has a aftermarket alarm so I was wondering how can I go about disabling the factory anti theft entirely? If I pull out the fuse can that help? BTW: I dont have any of the original remotes so thats not a option.

there are no original remotes

unplug it - it's under the dash on the left side and says security on it

I have wanted to disable my stock alarm also but for other reasons. The bastard who installed the damn thing just spliced the wires from the aftermarket alarm into the old alarm system. So if I pull the plug on the stock alarm, I'm going to loose some sort of functionality on the aftermarket alarm. Sometimes I will disable the aftermarket alarm and go to open the door, and the stock alarm will go off. It's pretty annoying. I believe it does that because the stock alarm is wired in some way to the actuators in the doors. And the actuator on the driver side door is really "weird". It kind of goes up and down on it's own sometimes. And doesn't always unlock or lock all the way. Well, that is my speil. But yea, I agree with craig, its right under the dash, you can't miss it.

Dude, if they wanted to steal cars, they wouldn't be looking at 3 gens.
These things are soo easy to steal anyway, it's not even funny.
I could take one in about 1 min flat without breaking a thing on the car... the alarm would go off for maybe 5 sec at most before I disabled the security system.

anyone that wants a car that bad can easily get it, and won't be posting on a public forum asking how to do it.

yeah, I've thought of that before

but if someone wanted the info, they could easily look it up and not even have to post and leave any evidence
or like Matt said, it really isn't that hard to break in to a car

Heyyyy, thats not fair. Im not trying to steal anyone's car. Anyways, I just disconnected, very easy as ewveryone said. Here are some pics of my Maxima, just got it yesterday. Not to bad for a 17 year old, I paid $350 from a uncle. Interior is very good, 148k, SE, very strong engine, needs one injector.

Its a 92 SE. Yeh, I love the wheels to, lol. I couldnt find another car for that price, especially a maxima. I just got it so I havent really done much yet, Im planning a crazy system though. Its not bad for 17 year old who had his license for 3 months, I bought it myself and the rents agreed to pay for the insurance.

I locked my jeys in mine a couple years ago, and the first time i drop a slim jim in it it was open and the alarm didn't go off.

Now that I don't have door handles and the links inside, I had to break a window not long ago.......

hey man, if you need rims i have 4 GXE rims, the same ones that are on your rear wheels, i have a set of four, they arent in bad shape, but they need a little elbow grease to get brake dust off, if u r interested, you can have them cheap, i just dunno about shipping, or you can do a local pickup if u wanna, i think cars lok good with the same kinda rims, but that is just my point of view
