light shuddering

my max has been shuddering at low rpms when cold lately... not badly, just enough to let you know that something is amiss... Any ideas?

Note: Mtcookson said he bought TWO new caps in a row, both dead =leaking!!! These plastics caps =craps. Mine lasted 10k and then sputtering again. Sprayed lacquer and now about ok.

Why does what?

TPS?
COLD: TPS input (throttle opening) defines how ECU adjusts the engine based on best guess. After coolant temp sensor resistance drops, indicating warm engine, O2 will be used instead. O2 in the exhaust gives exact feedback how the ignition/injection actually succeeded. O2 sensor needs high temp to function. MAF gives all the time info of air qty (mass).

CracEd CAP?
Moisture in cracks, after warmup evaporates. Hot/Dry=bad conductor, Cold/Moist=good conductor; sparks go whereever but plugs.
