1. What the heck is a pop charger intake and what the hell does it do :-) I have tried to figure it out and came out with nothing. How much do they run, what type of performance gain vs. CAI? Where can I get one.

2. What would be a fair price to have my max repainted. The whole thing. What is a good paint to use on it so that they don't sell me crap.

Thanks
RB

1. a pop charger is the brand name for basically a cone intake and adaptor. they run roughly $100. you'll get more power with it than a stock intake, but slightly less than a CAI- especially on hot days. You can get 'em just about anywyere that sells aftermarket parts for our car. just ask for an intake.

2. to HAVE it repainted, or to buy the paint to do it yourself?
if you have it repainted, expect to spend at least $1500 for a good job. If they have to do any bodywork i.e. taking out door dings.. expect to pay about $50 per small dent, and more for bigger ones.
And most good places won't even consider repainting a car unless they DO take out the dents.

Good paint runs $150-300/gallon, depending on brand. PPG and DuPont are the most common good brands. it's what most body shops use. RM brand is a decent one that's a bit less expensive than PPG. still expect to pay $120/gallon for it though.
