master switch taiko pcb relay delay

so i picked up a master switch from a 94 today since my auto down didn't work.

talk about cleaning up the circuitry!!

my 90 master switch has to have almost twice as many components on the board than the 94.
specifically, the 90 board has 2 relays labelled "taiko ald rgte-032xn" (5 pole)
the 94 only has one relay labelled "taiko 9323 tx2-8xs" (8 pole)

so the $60,000 question is how do i decipher the specs from these #'s & where do i get them from

good luck getting those parts if that is even the problem

I think the 90 is more complicated because it doesn't have a separate door lock timer maybe

uh oh....does that mean my door locks will not work now?

i have both fron door panels and switchs off so i didn't really test door locks. - i'll try to reconnect all switches and test them later this morning.

why do you say "good luck" regarding finding what seems to be a simply time-delay relay? i knwo it's nto that simple cause i can't find it but is there something else i'm missing? (famous last words from the )

so those are the schematics of the switches but i don't see the relay...also, i'm assuming these are the schematics for a right hand drive correct?

i see the digital touch control which seems to be the fancy way of saying auto-down or one-touch down - is that supposed to be the relay?

wow...that online fsm microfiche site is horrible...really bad scans aren't that useful... i hope the download is better, that is, if it ever becomes available.
it's getting increasingly more difficult to find a decent hard copy of the FSM.

i presume that the fsm has no further info on this matter (the specs of the timed relay).

i'm not sure why people are considering this such a daunting issue but i guess i'm about to find out.

it doesn't appear that the scary "data lines" have anything to do with the auto functions so that can't be why craig said "good luck" but thanks anyway wiking

Data lines are not scarey. Just human made - but trblsHootin benefits from info from humans who made it... I suppose that issue is like MAF-info =0. Easier to buy than spend days diggin in.

Copyquality horrible; dont use it for decoration but as infosource. Why not buy FSM?

First of all, I dont necessarily think the relay is the problem. To me, it sounds like you just chose that component as the one you want to replace for no real reason. It is possible that that's your problem, but there is a lot of other related circuitry that could be causing that.
That part is 10+ years old and I think you'll have a hard time sourcing it.

The data lines go from the main control switch to each door switch. They send +12V to roll the window up and 5V to roll it down (I might have that reversed). The diagram above does not show any internals of the main control switch and I've never seen anywhere that does show that schematic and I'd be surprised if you could find that anywhere.
