LSD or not?

How do I figure out from the VIN if my tranny is LSD or not? Its out of the car so I can't do the spinning wheels test.

my VIN # doesnt end in an A or an R

any other way to tell?

They are referring to the tranny code on the metal plate on the firewall (which also has the VIN # on it).
