Maybe the ones you bought were defective. Get a new unit, what else can you do.

I sell the poly kit, and the regular rubbers.
I'm surprised you had a problem, mine are over a year and a half old and they're fine.
I have seen a car with an ugly oil leak eat up a rubber bushing pretty quickly, just a thought.

Yea if the power steering pump is leaking it will also cause fluid to drop on it.

This is the bushing reason pushing some ppl to change struts in advance... Some keep kangaroo jumping without shocks: stock bushings are not made for that.

I drove with dead shocks for a year and still have good bushings. My old shocks just rattle inside the tubes.

Up/down resonance amplitude kills, not years. For this, there are multiple factors beyond shocks. Sometimes see how wheels are jumping like basketballs, with miles that wears down tires & bushings. Cars without shocks are dangerous killerbombs: we have now mandatory yearly shock tst, and its good that those bombs are collected off.
