It's about to get dumped/locked anyway. I figured I'd let the 3-gen section crew a ***** thread once in awhile.

As jeff has pointed out the rotary lacks the torque to move a heavy car around in the city.
you also don't have as much potential with a rotorary as you do an IC motor.
while you can lighten up the s-10 rather significantly, you'll still be dollars ahead doing an SBC swap.
But you already knew that


Also if he really wants a different 2.2 he should look at the old isuzu 2.2, they're more readily swappable and came RWD, unlike the V-tech 2.2

VE only needs a tuneup every 60k
