Alright, I've had my new max since december, and I don't know, I never seem to win any races. My only two good accomplishments was spanking a 5.0 auto mustang ('95), and a contour SVT, but i think that was just luck. But anyways, IF I was to sell my max, what kind of car do you think I should get that has more available exterior mods (EG euro tails) and stuff like that? I was thinkin like a 97 max SE, but I ono about that one. I don't want to spend more than 10k either, i wouldn't be able to afford it. any ideas? :-i

I would say go for a 4th gen 5 speed. And are you sure the 5.0 was racing you? That thing would have put a beating on you unless you have turbo or NOS.

If you want a car with more exteroir mods such as euro tails, then buy a Civic.

No more than 10k....

off the top of my head, Eclipse GST/X, Honda Civic(for what its worth...), Prelude, Integra.....to me those are some good choices if you're looking for a lot of "asthetic" mods and s STRONG aftermarket.

Thanks you guys. I am not really lookin for a honda, that would be like disowning this whole flock of maxima lovers. I still love my max. .. what I really want is a 4th gen max, but if i cannot get that, I think I';d prolly go for a Gs-t or gsx. Ummm, also, have any of you heard of a Nissan Gloria? It looks like a maxima somewhat, but it's a little messed up. I'll post a pic.

I could keep my max, but if I did I'd only have about 4 or 5k to spend on a new car. If I sold it, I'd have over 10k. So I Probably wouldn't keep it.

I am keeping my Max.I probably will never get rid of it.But I have found several SE-R's from 4-5K.And they are fast as hell.Man those little cars are civic killers. And the Max is an accord killer.I dont know how you stand but you might want to check them out.Two Nissans are better than one.

Gloria

The Gloria is rear wheel drive. Here is some specs on the various motors (year dependant) that you could get. I thought the Gloria was a JDM only.

VG20-ET 1998cc EFI OHC 12-valve V6 turbo 127kW@6000rpm 216 Nm@4000rpm -RWD 4 spauto 83-84 Gloria V20

VG-30E 2960cc EFI OHC 12-valve V6 134kW@5200rpm 260Nm@4000rpm -RWD 4spd auto 83-84 Gloria V30E

VQ-30DE 2987cc EFI DOHC 24-valve V6 164kW@6400rpm 279Nm@4400rpm -RWD 4sp auto 1996-97 Cedric & Gloria

That thing looks like a cross between a BMW and Bentley. I don't approve.
