I have a 1990 Maxima and gettin all confused with your model types. In Australia i have the Ti model, it has leather interior, climate control and all poer options. I was wondering what is the equivalent model in th US.
Also i have this button near the gear shift where is says A/T and can choose between Power and Comfort...what is the deal with dat?

 

There are two model types for the 3rd gens here: GXE, SE. The GXE is the more luxurious one and the SE the sporty one. From '92-94, the SE got a more powerful engine (190hp) the VE, while the GXE kept the 160hp VG.

The A/T switch changes the shift points. Switching it to Power makes the transmission shift later so you get higher revs while Comfort allows the tranny to shift smoother.
