Stock Windshield Washers Have Low Pressure/Aim Low
I'm not sure if this is a common problem or not but my stock windshield washers seem to have low pressure because they don't shoot water very high on my windshield at all. I've tried aiming them but it just seems theres not enough pressure. Does anybody know any tricks to increase the pressure or anything that will allow the water to be shot higher on the windshield? Thanks

I'm pretty sure they're not but I can check. I had actually put some colored nozzles on for a while, but they had absolutely no pressure at all, so I had to go back to my stock washers. These are better but still not as high as it should be.

i'd take them out, and dump them in a warm water/vinegar solution (or warm water and lemon juice) so the acid can get rid of the deposits. then i'd check the lines itself to see if they're cracked. you might be losing pressure that way.

Easy DIY: New wire from batt to a add on relay; use 'ol pump supply as input for this relay coil.
Buy, install aftermarket pump.

make sure the pump is getting it's full 13.8 volts

edit:
w/o actual measurement, I guess currently theres smtg like 6Volts at the pump; when pump runs. Taking in account the long wiring (fifty feet? with gnd ret wire), switches, connectors and fusing resistance, the voltage will never go over 11 even in new car. That drops to ten ? as pump sinks pwr...
Smbdy interested, pls do the actual measurements...

I've replaced my pump before. I'd reccomend simply unpluging the power plug and cleaning both ends with alchol. Nissan used some grease to prevent oxidation, and that grease is all stuck in the connector giving poor contact. From what I remember, the connectors are gold plated.
also use the wire from a resistor or capacitor to clean out the nozzles on the hood.

i remember when mine were clogged with wax. i used alcohol and a q-tip to try to clean it off. when that didn't work, i took a needle and poked it through the holes...after that, the fluid shot clear over and hit my roof/trunk!
