Jacobs Pro-Street Ultral Team. Any Benifit?

I have this unit that I took off my truck (being decommisioned). Is it worth putting on my maxima? What set of wires, plugs and gap should I have and what were others experiences who are using this system? It has the computer, massive coil, and the spark wire trigger.

yeah you can hook it up. Wires probably wont match the cap though so you'll have to get new ones.

It is slightly easier (in a sense) to hook up compared to an MSD, but then at the same time you might have to mess with the cap to "reciever" wire because I'm betting the cap styles are different).

I still prefer MSD, but you've got it already and on these cars there isn't much of a difference.

I know I will have to get a new wire set. When you say there is not much difference are you talking between msd and jacobs or stanard igntion or after-market?

Also 1.which manufacture of wires is prefered? 2. which spark plug and gap? 3. Is there a better cap and rotor to handle the extra lightning? and 4. What kind of gain might I expect?
