A/C question

oh come on... you can't still be sour over that...
none of us referred to your typos or knowledge in cars or english, we just stated that different parts of the world talk very differently and sometimes it can be hard to understand. there's no critics in that, just the simple fact when everybody's got a different native language. I do apologise if I ever hurt your feelings for it was certainly not my attention to do so. please, can we let it go?
edit: ...not my INtention to do so...
see I make typos all the time

no some connector is probably forgotten somewhere... the engine rpm doesn't drop at all so it can't even get the signal. will look it over again.
but still... the cruise control has to have connections to the auto tranny (think I read that in the fsm as well) but I don't know what cables just yet. think I'll be able to solve that on my own though

TCU: ASCD pin 12 - tie up/or down? with a resistor...

yeah I read your thread about the A/C. it's a very good description but I must be an idiot because I can't find the problem. I'll have to take it apart once more when I have a little bit more time.
the cruise control I'm sure is only two of the cables that used to go to the auto trans that now sits disconnected. after the ASCD connects to the A/T control unit it then goes down to the trans itself and back. I'm guessing that anyway since ASCD can make the car gear up and down by itself. so if I find which of thw two cables it is then short them I should be OK.
