cefiro front end swap

has any one tried to use a cefiro front end with our 3rd gen cars for a swap instead of just the bmw headlight conversion?

Is there a noob recruit banner out again?

PPL have done the headlights with out the corners several times. In order for it to really look right... I'd get the hood, fenders and bumper, in addition to all the lighting.

I agree from experience With some fiberglass/abs plastic I could finish it up. THe only issue is the corners and grill. I doubt the hood will be an issue but I should really to get a shop to finish it and give me a repaint.

it looks good. someone here in the US could put a SE-R or a GT-R badge and it would look half way believeable?

I have done the Headlight and grill conversion.. Not the whole front end conversion. They look good IMO, but SOME people dont on here dont like them. Partly cause there is GAP issues on the corner lights. I get compliments all the time though, and there nice and bright! Message me if u want some photos

I have them too. If I keep my maxima I will complete the project. But I am going with a custom grill and I will possibly fiberglass and mount them a little higher to the hood.

Dysfunctional has them also. We are all in CT lol.

I know what Cerfiros are and I don't especially like the look. IMHO it's interesting at most. But certainly doesn't look good enough vs the trouble it is to properly so this swap. But variety is the spice of life right?

I believe in fuction before fashion. Why would you go to all the trouble to change anything on your car to make it look like something it isn't anyway? I could see maybe swapping the motor but not the front end. That's just pointless.

OK what is the point of being custom (hint your name). We try to individualize ourselves from the usual E36 swaps. It comes as a gift and a curse doing this swap as opposed to the usual. Why would someone throw a z31 motor into a maxima when our maxima's are not z31's? These headlight are a HUGE upgrade. But you're still a newb and judging from the name you have a lot to learn.

it's the mysterious blob of glass inside these headlights called Projectors that's the upgrade. as for something for the driver... individuality.

Yea they are very very similiar to the S13 headlights, there just a bit bigger, (from top to bottom) And they have a black housing instead of the clear of silver or whatver it is. Mine didnt look as good until i did the stillen front lip, that sealed the deal.. Looks great though and i have alot of 240sx guys thinkin that i did the s13 headlights. if i wasnt such a posting newb id slap a photo on here of the car with the lights on....

Being a "newb" has nothing to do with the car being ugly and changing a maxima into looking like something that it's not.

gents....why are we bashing someone for voicing their opinions?
is there a sign somewhere that we have to agree with everyone?

so the new guy doesn't like it....so be it. what's the big deal? the guys who has it or likes it...well you have your reasons to like it. this guy has his reasons that he doesn't like it. why do you have to mod your car so you make sure everyone likes it? if people are not into the way i mod my car...well f-them...I LIKE IT...and that's what counts.

I just dont like how the corner lights arent as tall as the headlights. I think if they were even it would look a little better.

Heh... I've just been pretty short fused lately. We know his opinion, does he have to drag it out?

I just want to see someone do a front swap....

AND I SWEAR it's the same bloody chassis as ours and OTHER things can be swap over... I won't go into detail to avoid locking this thread with Maxima Blasphomey.

I also upgraded on my stereo system. I am awaiting a new amp.
