kinda sorta maxima related

anyone know of a decent site to cross-reference part number applications (i.e. say i know the part number for say...the primary muffler bearing of a 92 max and would like to know if the same part number is used on a 99 corolla)?

No radiator and they rarely overheated. I drove one across the Mojave Desert in 1985 -- 110° heat and nary a complaint from the engine.

But I digress. To stay on topic: I do not know of a part number cross-refererence resource.

This issue is the lifeline for stealer$hip spare sales oily wellbeing: top secret. And car mfg want to stop any cross-buying by addin on parts one notch here or there. Shock absorbers sets are a great example how u can milk unawares: DIY 250$ vs. "originals" 1500$. The smaller the market, the better this rippin works...

There are some websites trying to collect this info, but to work such site would really need financial incentives.

One general source to figure out: stanza/bluebird chassis is 'about' equal to maxima.; I have bluebird rear shocks.

dealerships are not an option because i'm trying to seach across manufacturer lines - hence the example using two different makes, i.e. nissan and toyota....

thanks

there are no free x-ref sites that i'm aware of.
if you need it for a short time you may be able to sign up with autoe-cat for a 90 day type deal
