power steering rack boot
hey guys. the boot on the drivers side on the steering rack is ripped open and all the grease leaked out. can i just replace that part and if i can how?

yes, you can replace your boots. they're very very easy to do. all you'll need is a lock plier, rubber hammer, new tie rod ES boots from pepboys ($3 for 2), and some multipurpose synthetic greases and of course new boots.

No grease...Just replace the boot.
The ball joints on these cars cannot be greased. Just replaced.
i wanna know whats the difference between getting one at pep boys and getting one at the dealership? i mean the difference is only like 3 bucks, is there much difference in quality?
now to remove the tie rods. i c there is that nut thats between the inner and outer tie rod. its on the passenger side. do i turn the nut towards the rear or the front of the car. cause its on pretty tight and either way i cant turn it. what do you guys suggest.

I suggest you grow some muscles and look at the way the threads are on tie rod end and then turn it acordingly...
