Engine Restore

Engine Restore

Can anybody tell me if its ok to put Restore brand engine treatment into a 94 SE, VE engine if not what is the worst that cld happen ? thanks.

First of all that snake oil will not "restore" anything..

Second...Why are you wanting to put oil treatment in your car?[i.e. engine smoking,low cylinder pressure.]

my engine has 150,000 miles on it n i thought it wld give it more power. remember i'm no mechanic, n i just bought the add on tv abt it filling the gaps in the engine. helloo, (smack over my head). lol

These motors are good for 300,000 plus if there took care of.

If it ain't broke...Don't fix it....

your right. the problemis that i already have put the darn thing in the engine a few times afterwards i read a thread that said something abt our engines have these fine line wicth i might have blocked, the lines i referred to are for lubricating the engine where the oil go's thru

thta crap must help a little cause when i first bought my car with 150k and put something similar in before the oil change, it stopped my vtc tick for a while. but i t eventually came back. you'll probably better off with something like seafoam but dont know how effective that is eiither.

That stuff doesn't do much worth the money you pay for them.

run a high quality engine flush (BG44K, seafoam, etc) about once a year, and do regular oil changes otherwise- and use a high quality filter.

that's all you need to make these engines last.

Tried it once on my old 240 didnt notice a difference tho.
