Door Problems

I have a weird problem. The front passenger side door wont open. When you lift up the lock, the door still wont open. Its as if the door has been permanently closed. Any suggestions on how to open this thing without spending alot of money?

My friend tried yanking on the handle one time when the alarm was trying to unlock it.. it wouldnt open, but my friends dad who used to be in audio figured it out, and it works fine again. Something about the door locks- he had to pry off part of the door while it was closed from the inside to unstick it. Didnt get all the details, but it's worked great again since!

this is pretty strange because this is the 3rd post on the org i've read that describes the pass. side door randomly not opening, i dont know how everyone elses worked out but i think your best option is to fanangle the door panel off and get to the inner workings...yeah i know easier said than done.
