Racing Chip

So yesterday i was really bored so i went on ebay and ordered me a racing chip for 25$ I was wondering if those chips really worked at all. It says it gives up to 25 hp but if it gives me 5 i will be happy. Please let me know your opinions.

You might as well took that $25 and flushed it down the toilet.....

All them chips do is make your computer run in open loop all the time.

good way to waste gas.....

A fool and his money will part quickly.......

I bought one of those a while back. Didn't really check out the ad too much, I guess. For some reason I thought that it actually connected to the ECU, probably since the ad sort of tried to make it seem that way. Anyway, I checked it out when it came and never installed it because it looked like a piece of crap. Guess I should've realized that before I ordered it, but at least that lesson only cost $25.

you would've gotten more satisfaction in buying $25 bucks in gas than that chip.

I've stopped drinking soda and started drinking water, so I'll either have to
1. try a new heat resistant material (plastic vs. aluminum)
2. drink soda
3. rummage around

Cliff Clavin has one in his car. Not sure if he knows it or not but that is his mid-pipe I installed it on
