Why would anyone sell their SE?

Just kidding. I can assure you that it wasn't me.

Wasn't me... I've passed up 2 times already on trading in my Maxima. (But I might bite the bullet for when I go and get my Titan)

I recall you were looking at at 540 6-sp, right? Did you ever end up getting it?

Coincidentally, I bought a 540 a few months back. Great car.

Nope he sold it. I was also looking at another one, but it was bought the next day before I could call him up to say that I was going to buy it. I just bought an A4 instead. As of right now, I'm planning on keeping this car through winter because of the AWD.

Yes, the 540 is a V8, the 528, 525, 530 are all an I6. And yes, with a 6-speed it really is like driving a rocket. I am considering replacing the rear diff 2.85 with a 3.15 to really ramp up the g's.

sold mine and I dont regret it. I am not saying I dont miss (difference between regret and missing) it some but when you have fixed up and sold as many cars as I have (way to many to count over the years) you get used to it. Besides knowing the new owner is enjoying it and is a true enthusiest makes it easier.

The only car I truly regret selling and wish I could have kept it was my 65 Nova SS...but alas I had a child on the way and needed to pay off some bills.

No chevelle pics yet?

I got rid of my max because of a third tranny. Right now I was gonna buy a 91 prelude but I found this very nice 94 Sunbird for 1/5 of the price. The lude was selling for 1k. Do the math. In my case I got a steal as the lady who sold it thought the engine was going bad because it kept over heating and made a clanking sound when sarting. If you guys would have saw the oil filter you would have wanted to kill that lady. The oil hit a new level of dirty and the car had no coolant or water in the radiator or overflow tank. So all together the Sunbird costed me 250 with misc item (for tune-up) and it runs perfect. It does need a little body work but I am gonna get it repainted black so that's not bothering me. I do miss that V6 torque but the L4 can pull vs. my old VG max.
