Odd Hesitation

Hi everyone, I have a 1993 maxima GXE. Today i was driving, i was going about 65-75 mph and my car started hesitating really bad. Sometimes i would lose all throttle response. It acted just as if i ran out of gas, but i filled up on gas yesterday. I think it is most likely either the fuel pump or the ignition coil.
I'm leaning more towards the ignition coil because the fuel pump is only a few months old(it's a walboro 255lph). Anyone else have any suggestions or ideas? Has anyone experienced this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Sammy

Yes, I had this problem, and it was my ignition coil that had a crap-load of aqua-coloured corrosion built up on it. Check under the wire boot that goes into the coil to make sure it's clean inside.

You should check the coils. I had the same problem. It was the coils.

- nobody can say if u have same prob: Symptoms might be like the same...
- death comes like that, any moment: for most, no preparation or warning. Better be prepared.
- read the info that has been offered above; check it out. Coil dies once in 100million miles. How many have u collected?

Coils get killed by heat, if you live in a mostly cold climate, the coil will last a very long time.
if you live in a hot/ humid climate then it probably won't make it much past 100k if even that
