So Im driving on the freeway and this 5.0 comes behind me and tailgates me. Well Im in 4th and I redline and he keeps up, but when I go into 5th he falls behind ( I think he missed a gear ). Well as Im going around 115-120, my exit comes and I brake and downshift all the way to 3rd. the car is going fine in 3rd but I take it out of gear to coast. As I go to the light, the car won't allow me to go into gear, and the clutch pedal just sit on the floorbed, so I put on the hazards and move off of the street. Now the car is running and I lift the hood to see if I messed anything up, nothing visible, I go and press the clutch and here a crakling sound. so I turn off the car and restart, the clutch pops up into position and is very stiff, but now allows me to move into gear. What do you guys think happend?

 

Well for starters grow up and stop endangering peoples lives by doing 100+mph on public streets :...And then replace your clutch,pressure plate,throwout bearing....Then....TAKE IT TO THE TRACK!!!!
