going rate?

going rate?

whats the going rate to have a shop install a bpipe and muffler? i called one place and they said it would be 1 to 3 hours labor at 80/hr

i had a shop do a custom weld from the y-pipe all the way back for 275$ it took just under 1 hour

same here but it may depend on where u live as far as price, but i dont see it taking 3 hours?

if it's just install (like you bought a warpspeed or something), you're looking at less than an hour.. it's literally unbolt old stuf (or cut off), stick new stuff in there, bolt it up.

yeah i know... I could do it myself but I don't have the proper tools... I was just a little pissed that he said it would be about 1-3 hours to do it. I know how its done... those bastards.

what about putting the muffler on the bpipe? looks like it has to be welded

they dont have to do alot of work.....it took maybe 20 minutes for myself to take the old cat-back off and put a new one on. but it was all one piece.

Mine took me 1 hour it was three pieces to putt on. All u do is get those bolts off the cat then cut the old pipping in pieces take it all out and bold the new one on. Its really easy and i feel bad when i hear people paying a couple hundred for some idiot to do it.
