Heat / AC issue

Heat / AC issue
Because of no heat i've gotten the heater core replaced, but I still get no heat unless a vaccum hose is removed.
Also the ac appears to be stuck on, it only turns off when the car is turned off. This is a 92 max.

Let me rephrase my question:
I have a 92 Maxima with a VG 30E engine. I just replaced a leaking heater core, but now I get no heat. The heat returns when I remove a particular vacuum hose under the hood however. Does anyone have any idea of how the vacuum system controls heater hot air distribution? Any insight will be appreciated.
Krannick: Does air in the cooling system cause the no heat issue alone?

atentaten : I had no heat last winter....and it sucks at -30 celcius.....
i had air bubbles in my cooling system which prevented the circulation of the fluid...
bleeding the system with the screw solved my problem....but be careful..the screw i had on mine was very thin and i destroyed it by tightening it and i had to find another...
