general info on Bose amps

I found this web page that gives some general information on Bose amplifiers.
Take a look if you are going to mess with your Bose system.

If you have a 90 model [like it says in your info] then i don't think they will work on mine ...the plugins are different....

There's no difference...at least I don't think...I took the ones from my 91 and put them in my 93....oh and

there's a place called Factory service center in dallas, that will sell you a refurbed one for like $90 with your core traded in....since 97 I have replaced all 4, and they are working great.

That NSX site is a good site to check out. I recently resoldered all my amps and was able to fix the front two amps. But on one of my rear amps, I believe one of the ICs are burnt up since the joints are corroded along with the capacitors.

If you need cheap parts, I highly recommend dealing with http://www.futurlec.com . Go ahead and buy more supplies than you'll need. Don't mess with Radio Shack, they will just overcharge you for capacitors. I have no complaints with Futurlec. The shipping from pretty fast too!

This thread helped me out: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....amp+capacitors
