Wash car and now no lights!!

Ok I went and washed the car, dried ect ect. Get in and nothing. No corner lamps, no headlights, no foglights, turn signal works as well as the set of driving lamps I installed. The lights in the dash seem to be possessed as well. They came on and off on the way home then when I turned the lights off the dash lights stayed on!! WTF????? It's too dark now to screw with it, but HELP!!!!

check the taillights.
corrosion in the rear sockets can cause some funny problems.

Fishermen get fish cause they can think like a fish. Here fish must think where the water could have gone in and how reached and what. Sometimes it seems to have veeery complicated routes. As said, I'd start from rear lamps, then dive under dash and seek for soaked places.

Future: Pry windshield seals somewhat open all around, check for possible leak points. Take cloth, dry/clean under seals all around from there, inject silicone.

Ok checked fuses now that there is light outside. Both the taillamp fuse and the headlight fuses were blown. Replaced the headlight fuse, works fine, but I replaced the taillamp fuse and all it did was blow as soon as I turned the lights on. I checked both the lamp assemblies, no sign of water anyuwhere. Ideas?????

Halve the problem:
1. Unplug rear lamps
2. New fuse,
3. put lights on.
4. Fuse blown?
Yes= harness, front switch etc problem - rear lamps ok
No. Either rear assy shorted. Install RH lamp, put lights on.
5. Fuse blown?
Yes= RH rear lamp faulty
No. RH rear lamp ok! Install LH lamp, put lights on.
6. etc
7. What all devices are connected in taillamp fusing, take out one by one, test...
