Well last November I bought this 1992 Maxima SE 5spd and it's just been sitting in the garage since, today an org member came up and took his new car home


first time out of the garage since I put it in



Sure was easier getting it on the tow dolly this time

nice truck, those dodge diesels run forever, trust me my dad had a 99' now he has a 03' cummins high output 4x4....very sweet truck....ohh and Mr. gone..if i lived in washington i would have bought your black max

Hey MrGone I'm new here so I dont quite know most of the people here yet or their stories but whats your reason for selling that perfectly nice maxi?

I bought it with a "blown engine" which seemed like it was most likely VTC's or a broken stud or two. Towed it home, and it just sat because I got tired of working on Maximas lol. I probably should have just got it running, cleaned it and sold it for more but oh well.

 

What did get for the old girl if you don't mind saying on here???

So basically the black one is getting a black leather interior, UDP, Y Pipe, Lightened Flywheel, Stage 1 Clutch, and CAI from the red one along with anything I find missing.

Is it 5 speed or auto??

 

It's an '88 5 speed turbo. I've been doing a little work to it over the last year or so.

I'm getting the max to drive to and from work while I mod the crap out of the supra over the winter.

Right now I've got a fully rebuilt top & bottom end, mandrel bent intercooler hardpipes, HKS downpipe, 3" catless exhaust, eibach & tokico suspension, and a rebuilt turbo that I still need to put on.

Spipedong r u parting out the Red VE or what cuz ur sayin' that ur practically transferring all ur parts from ur red VE to ur new Black VE??? what r u gonna do with ur JDM VE from the red one???

 

The JDM VE is going into the black one. I'm not really parting it out per se, but I'm taking anything I can use from the red car, and towing it to the junkyard.
