just found out a vtc job by a nissan mechanic is close to 2 grand!!! if it is the vtc thats makign the clicking noise my dad will make me sell the car...i hope after the tune up this friday its not the vtc but something less minor!!!

 

drain about a quart of oil out, and replace it with some marvel mystery oil. that stuff does wonders for high milage motors. I threw a quart of that stuff in a junkyard AMC 360 v8 out of a cherokee with unknown milage (at least 100k judging by the stretched timing chain), replaced the filter and drove around for a week, then changed the oil + filter. engine really quieted down.
