My maxima is not going to be with me any longer.
I amassed to many parking tickets, and hence the car has been booted and the city will come take it shortly.

she was probably the longest owned beater I've ever had (2 whole years!)
she will not go quietly into the night!!!
She has been liberated of any part I was able to pull with hand tools.
no hood, no trunk, no tail lights, no coilpacks, no door windows or regulators, no seats, no center console, no gauge cluster, no dash bezel, no mirrors.


moral of the story: Pay your parking tickets!

That sucks. I hear ya about the parking tickets. Lately I have been on a parking ticket collection spree myself. Should'nt really mess with the parking people. You cant win. I think I will go take care of my ticket tomorrow itself. On another note, did you happen to remove your hood struts / lifts . "Somebody" could always use stuff like that, if you know what I mean

that's why I pulled the hood. I don't know how good they are on the white VE5
I'm also going to have to swap front windows, the VE5 has tints all the way round

Crap, the last parking ticket I got was $16 for overtime parking.

i would unbolt the strut/wheelhub and move the car but leave the wheel/strut/hub and boot where it is now then get a new wheel/strut/hub and bolt it on

 

it's an A/T and now there's not much left, but an excellent engine and trans also a UDP. it may or may not make it out with the Z31 rears

Wow, the car looks like it was in great shape. Its really a shame that this is how its gonna end for the Max. OK, now since thats out of the way, you forgot to take out the shifter thingy. I'll probably be hitting you up later for the-thing-that-releases-the-shifter-lock for my 90 GXE (If it'll work for the GXE). Also, is it legal to strip the car like that? And like someone mentioned, take the wheels too. I would love to see the face of the tow truck guy when he comes to pick up the car. Probably cost more to tow the car than all the tickets added up.
