I recently bought an 89 Maxima, and I love it. It's pretty much stock except for suspension. It's got an Eibach\Tokico combo. I have a few question I was wondering if some of you can help me out with. Are the rear speakers 6 by 9 or 6.5? What companys make Front and rear strut tower bars and how much? Are the front rotors bolted to the axle or does the caliper hold them on?

Thanks

First priority get some kind of service manual for your car. It will give you many answers to your future questions.

Second.. your answers:
BOSE: 6x9
non-BOSE 6.5
Check your stereo's cassette flap if it says bose its bose if it says active speaker system its non bose

OBX www.southwestautoworks.com
stillen we don't recommend based on price etc.

Front rotors are held on by the calipers. Pull the calipers and the rotors come right off. Are your rotors warped? if so (common prob) then try www.jcwhitney.com they have them really cheap if you need them.

Anything will fit if you cut it The Bose systems have a factory cut out of 6.5", but tehre is a mouting adapter plate so 6x9s fit.

We do not need a rear strut bar, and non is available for our year max.
