Is your car lowered? because in the pic it doesnt look like its lowered, so I say use that $200 on some lowering springs.

Hay anybody know if any other body kit are out there, so far i have only come accross this Stillen and 2 other ones a Kaminari and a Erebuni which i think are kinda lame. So far i like the Stillen body kit but am curious if anybody knows if there are any other kits out there that can be slightly moded to fit. If someone could give back some feedback or maybe some links I would greatly appriciate it. By the way anyone how much of a pain in the A## it would be to mod a 4th gen kit and hood? From what i have seen in pics it don't look like the 3rd and 4th gen are too diffrent. Other than a couple of inched on wheel base, body lines etc..

And to paint it (not rattle can) would probably be another $200, if not more. For $400, you can get a set of used 17s w/ tires.

IMHO

Dude you need wheels first. Trust me.
And don't you dare buy 15 or 16inch wheels for that car.

Take your time, save a little.

If you buy the front lip. Put it to the side until later. How would you feel if you screwed it up before you got the rest of the body kit. There is nothing like the feeling of seeing your ride come out of the bodyshop with a fresh coat of paint, new(full) body kit and new shoes(wheels).

If ya gonna do it. Do it right.

What's so wrong with having 15" rims? I've got a set on mine.

I am joining the Matt93SE, Jeff92SE and MrGone crowd. I now have five sets of rims for my Maxima.

I have a set of 17s for sale uber cheap, but two of them are bent.

I was thinking like $150 + shipping for all four rims. The damage is all on the inner lip, not the outer lip. They all held air, but I sent one in to get fixed and the company said they couldn't fix it. New, these rims were over $300 each.

Here is the one I sent in:

I just prefer a 17inch or higher. It kind of fills the space. But as I said in my previous thread it’s my opinion.

I had 15s on my car till about November of last year with an Erebuni kit. It didn't look bad at all. Now when I went to a 17inch....OH BABY!!!

Note:
The opinions and/or comments of Priority are not necessarily the views of Maxima.org. All comments regarding car accessories, wheels, interior packages, driving speeds, failure to stop, exterior packages, tires, window tint, paint colors or any modifications to you Maxima are to be taken as my opinion.

This should keep me out of trouble. I felt a little tension from the guys with 15inch wheels.

Why couldn't they fix it? Was it because of the multiple bends in the lip?
It doesn't look that bad.

They just said it was not fixable and sent it back. They also scraped off a bunch of the paint on the inner part of both lips (front and back, but not where you could see it with tires on) then used a sharpie to make some stuff. I have been trying to find an extra wheel for several months and finally just picked up a set of 4th gen SE wheels (5-spoke) and also a set of cheap ADR 17s. Now I just need to buy some tires.

I am probably going to put the Centerlines on ebay later this month when I have a chance to have the remaining three tires dismounted. They are shot.

my buddy i sold my 17 to is selling them NO BEND. NO CURB RASH, they are 17x(7.5?) inches ADR DV-8 in a white powder coat. He's selling the car he bought so he don't need them any more. $350. + shipping for the rims 600 + shipping with the tires. there on 215/40/17 NANKANG's H rated. the rims are 150 per rim and tires are about 125 per tire. tires have hardly any wear. To be honest i wish i hadn't sold them but i want 19's instead. if you might be interested email me.

That's because dude that started the thread should be thinking more about rims or a drop than getting a stillen lip...

we are just trying to give him ideas on how Maxima.org works. He states what he wants to do and we correctly advise him of what he should do.
