the info on completin the wirin' for the F20 and F21 harness's is at the beginin' of this thread and its also in the stickies as well. about the pilot bearin' i didn't install that on my max cuz no one told me about that but it hasn't given me any problems for the past 2yrs since i've done the swap. either way i have a spare tranny layin' around just in case but it was good that u brought this up.

the 5-speed tranny does not require a tranny computer at all. u can leave the auto tranny computer in the car since its not gonna be used anymore. so don't worry about that. ECU stays the same by the way. no need to swap ECU's from auto the manual. it will work the same.

yea so just cut into the f20 harness with the write up from GRNMAXDMON and go from there real easy. i had hooked up the gear selector starter / reverse switch also into the f20 harness because i have a 2way pager w/remote start and did want my car to be in gear if i attempted to start it. and as for that i got cruise control and reverse lights and start disable if in any gear. i had also wired my cluch pedel into my brake pedel to disable the cruise control with the clutch pedel.
