right side of the dash....very cold air...., it did it on all the positions i can get air out.....(top, front, bottom, auto, econ, manually adjusting fan speed)

verify that the engine coolant is filled all the way and the heater core has water flowing through it. from what you have said, i kinda think that you are having a problem with the doors inside the ducts allowing cold air in and not shutting. maybe a link fell off or broke.

it sounds like to me your fresh air door is stuck open
to verify is the fresh air switch real easy to move up and down if it dosnt give resistance than the cable might have snapped off the plastic on your climate control unit

Lots ppl HERE have opened their heaters, but no pics. less writeup. Hi time smbdy helped this forum...

As said, chk craigs page. GO See favorite links -at my CDomain site.

There has to be actuating motor. Maybe wire loose, gears screwed?

I'd cut a 1" hole to see in, tape/glue it closed.

FWIW my 94 gxe auto climate control did the same when it was low on radiator coolant, but your coolant level sounds good...

...i was kinda dumb.....the only reason i post it is to stop others of making the same stupid mistake......

the "fresh air" **** was ON....so cold air got in the car by the right vents...

by turning it off, i get hot air on both sides (hotter on driver side)

which means that i MAY really have something stuck somewhere in the duct...

Right wrong or left closed, wassup?

The fresh vent is an option [US std]. **** is missing in My vehicle. FSM explains it: "allows fresh air from MID vents - as other vents produce simultaneously hot air."

My MID vents (if vent flap open) always produce fresh air.

on my max, if i open the fresh air vent, i get the same exact un-even temperature from the air outlets that krannic had. nature of the beast, i guess.

If I flip the fresh air lever, I get cold air from both middle vents and the rest depends on the setting of the auto climate.
