parcel shelf
i installed 6 x 9s in the back of my car, however i scrapped the original parcel shelf, as it was just too thin, and then i replaced it with some carpeted 18mm MDF. Cut holes out in the MDF for them and had to cut tiny bits out of the metal with a jigsaw from within the boot. It was pretty easier to do, cheap and much better than sitting the 6 x 9s on the original shelf.
