Weird problem with car windows!!

I used my car to help jumpstart a friend's car yesterday. Afterward the power windows control switches on the driver side doesn't roll up the other window, passenger and both the rears. It rolls down instead whenever you're trying to roll it up for all three. WTF! the jumpstart must of screw up the curcuit board somehow. i'm unplugged the battery this morning. i'm going to reset the system to see if that help. Has this happenned to anyone before?

yes ive got the same problem
my driverside switch wont roll up the windows, it will only roll them down.
It will roll up and down the driverside
sometimes while driving i can roll up the windows. SOMETIMES! its a faulty switch i think.
Anyone have a solution?

You both need to replace your master switches on the driver door....

Maybe there is (isnt tHere?) relation to jumpstart. I blew my rectifier in the alternator in jumpstart. My samaritan career has ended...

Jump or NOT: What can be done? Take first donor car batt positive connector out. Connect both car engines or chassis grounds together. Connect Donor battery to poor recipient batt positive... Now you blow NLY your battery.

Whatever, DO NOT keep donor car running if u connect those thick jumpwires.

I know, this way u cannot charge the dead batt, start voltage is lower... bad situation. If you want to charge the dead one, use thin wire and 30 min idle, this way your alternator/batt draw does not surge and destroy your system.
