you'll be lucky if you can get more than 5500 out of it, especially if you wait another year before you sell it.

Whats going wrong with your car exactly?

Check out www.edmunds.com, I think they are a little more accurate.

Actually, because Im bored, I checked it out myself. Trade-In: $4308
Private Party: $4,933
Dealer Retail: $5,976

Matt was right on the money. Will all these things going wrong with it, expect those problems to offset the extra money you might have been able to get out of it for the low miles.

spend 680$, and get a body kit,

you will sell it easy for like 8k, people are stupid, tell them they only made 10 of them and spend 5 buks at autozone and put a limited edition symbole on it, that will get you another 400$, people come up to me and ask if my car is a brand new bmw, you just have to make it look good, put some paint on it from macco for 225$ and any female will buy it, you could paint a gemlin and sell it to a woman for what ever you want just because it's "shinney"

I would kill for that type of trade-in amount. My car has high miles but runs perfect. (139K) The only problem though is that even though it runs perfect, I WILL NOT get a reasonable amount of dough for it. I WOULD NOT take $4300 for my car.

I live in South GA and most stuff around here is dirt cheap. But I don't wanna drive a couple hundred miles to sell my car. I want to make sure she is taken care of.

That is probably a price from a dealer....

note:
dealer prices are usually more than what a private owner would sell the car for, only becasue the dealer needs to make money on the car... etc...

well, i talked it over with my uncle, who has been doing all the work on the car, and he thinks its in great shape now. considering i spent $1400 on it this month i would hope so. anyways he said he thinks the car can last a long while and i shouldnt think about getting rid of it. comming from a guy that hates anything but american cars i was kinda surprized. so i guess ill be holdin on to the max. i really dont like any other car other than this one except maybe an impala or something. i think im gonna hold off on the expensive mods for a while and see if the car is holdin up ok. im glad it seems to be riding nice now.
