Problem with Tie Rod End replacement

I am having very hard time removing the outer Tie Rod End on my 91 GXE. I have used liquid wrench and similar product with no better result (even waited for an hours). The part on that screw on the Tie Rod does not have a very good grip. I used a set two 18 inch plumbing pipe wrench (red color monkey wrench) with no prevail. My guess is I do not have room to position myself with enough force to break it loose. I lay flat on the floor with my arms under the car to turn it and it would not budge.
Any suggestion to remove the tie rod end. Could I dammage the inner part if I use too much force.

Thanks.

P.S.The local Pepboys said they will replace it with my part for around $80.00 for labor. I did want to spend that much since I only need to loosen it.

What are you trying to loosen??? The rod or the nut on the end of tie rod??

this is interesting. normally you loosen the lock nut by the tie rod end and use something to hold the rod that goes into the rack & pinion assembly and screw off the tie rod end.

is there any damage to the threaded area?

The rod that screw to the bolt with lots of threads. That the one I am having problem with. I was able to use the pitch fork to separate the tie rod end from the part from the wheel ( and damage the rubber part). That why I realy need to replace the tie rod end now.
So I managde to got the tie rod end from the wheel part (outer part with castle not). Now I need to remove the tie rod end from the streering system. I stuck and would not budge. Any trick?

stick the tie rod end back into the steering knuckle to hold it in place.. just start the threads on the castle nut- you don't have to tighten it.. just hold it down.
heat the jam nut and the tie rod end with a blowtorch for a minute or so to get it nice and hot, THEN use the wrench to break the nut loose.
once it's loose, then remove the castle nut and unscrew the tie rod end (make sure you're wearing gloves or wait until it cools down!)

I am such an idiot.... Just went to look again under the car and now I see the Nut. I though that nut is part of the tie rod end and graping on the inner rod part of the streering. I GOT IT NOW. I was tire after 3 hours with the Ball Joints yester day.

I wish there a way I can buy you a beer. I just save my $80.00 from the local pboys.

By the way my wife saw me running back and forth to the garage and I told her the what I am doing. Her comments is ' wow.. there are guys out ther sitting around on a Sunday night to anwer you within 20 minutes. That are lonely'. What can I say. She just does not understand.. Guys much appriciated.
