its located on the tranny I dont have any pics but maybe someone eles could help you with that. it has one ten mm bolt holding it in. with a wire harness coming out of it. Just take the one bolt out and pull up. The sensor runs about $70 at most parts stores

If you donate $25 then you can search the org for the answers to your problems...By far the best mod you can do for your car..

I have a used one at my parents house someplace, I could look for it when I go back there this week, the only catch is it has 172k miles on it, and I cut off part of the wireing harness (5 speed swap)

Difference between the DOHC or SOHC Speed Sensor?

Hey Twinkle thanks a bunch for the reply but for something like this I would rather go new............but thanks anyhow man.

I called my parts place and now they tell me they only have the listing for the DOHC??? So I ask the guy well is it the same as the SOHC........he is like......uuuuuhhhh I dunno? So I asked if there was anyway to find out and the **** said no. So guys......difference? Yes or no?

Funniest thing is this morning going to work I was doing 165km/h on the HWY but it took me the same time as usual.............

Hey bud,

Hahahhahaha............fun eh.........mine wants to be everywhere but zero. I am in between Ottawa and Montreal........close to the Quebec border but still in Ontario. I found my part for $78 CDN + taxes. And yes the DOHC and SOHC sensors are the same. Funny when I was talking to the guy at Nissan he is like......."Are you sure you want to buy it there??" After he quoted me the same thing for $200+........I was like.........well.........13 year old car.........$120 difference........yeah why not! Thanks Boys!
