Free carfax, hurry while it last.
Found this while browsing around on the net, the owner was willing to share the account, so thought I would share it with you guys. Hurry though, alot of people are logging in, and they have a halt service protection.

Thanks! Just ran my car to find out it was issued a salvage title in 1992. Don't know what happened to it, but I bought it as a parts car for $200 last year and rebuilt it. It was driven up until 2003, and then stripped out. If it was totaled, they did one hell of a job putting it back together - I never saw anything out of place when I built it and did the tranny swap, etc.

LoL the parts car i have was in a accident and totaled and I think it was side swiped at least. as the front and rear drivers quarter panals were all bondo'd up and the car was flat black with a drivers door and hood in burgendy. I bought it for $450 with a brand new clutch. it had so much odo fruad, like 6 owners, salvage title, everything lol.It was in such bad shape though. only one tranny mount, the tranny bolts were loose, bad axle, and a terrible interior. that thing was a death trap, im glad its going to a junkyard and not some ones daily driver...
Though it says im the 3rd owner of my 90se and the milage is fine, and it has no bad history. What a score for $300! nice interior and exterior too. now this is a nice max.

Cool...Mine had about 48k miles on it and got a timing chain noise. Supposedly these had issues with the tensioner. Mine also was beat on by the previous owner. Anyway, I took it apart to freshen the engine and do some cosmetic work. It got put on the back burner and a former room mate lost a lot of the parts for me so I just gave up on it. It was very reliable and I even "eluded" the cops once. Long story and it doesn't belong on here.
It had an old V&H header with an SS2R slipon and was jetted. I could get high 7s to low 8s in the 1/8th mile. Not the fastest but it was fun beating most street cars out there.

2nd owner of my '93 GXE is what Carfax says. stayed in Indiana up to Dec. of '99 and then brought down to FL. front end collision back in '01; not my fault though. 160,xxx miles reported in Dec. of '99 and now it only has 108,xxx miles currently.
4th owner of my '89 SE. lived its life in New York with 1st owner and then after that it came to the hands of the last 3 Floridian owners. no accidents.
interesting to c the history of both my cars.
thanks for lettin' us use Carfax for free!

it'll probably be back on tomorrow, that information is actually shared on another forum as well, and I just happen to find it for you guys. So between you guys and the guys there, who knows how many people logged on.

carfax is weak so weak that it didnt tell me my Max was a salvage and offered its buyback guarantee. Carfax is only a small piece of the used car puzzle
I did one on my Maxima a few months back... the first owner reported mileage fraud... that idiot. There's nothing wrong with it. I even had Nissan pull up the record on it, he brought it in, and they found nothing wrong.
Now thanks to his stupidity, it stays on the report, and the state of SD won't let me remove it because the vehicle is over 10 yrs old.

Yep, it don't work. If anybody has an account, JN1HJ01P7NT625533. Should say like salvaged, or rebuilt. Kind of curious myself. Of course I know, the only things carfax reports, are only what they have been notified about. I don't think I'd judge a good car from bad by just going by it.

I'm not too worried about it. It'll still haul a$$. It ain't nothing compared to most of the others on here. Sure is fun to smoke kids with their civics (fart can, big ugly wing, stripped interior but seems to have 500 lbs. of stereo) with my 3 wheeler sitting on top of it. I'll have to find a pic of it. Probably make somebody cringe.
