Tough decision
Alright guys...I've had my maxima for about a year and a half and so far I've bought all new brakes, a new alternator, a new power steering hose, and a fuel pump. The problems that still exist are that I need 2 new radiator fans, I have an exhaust leak, one of my calipers clamped onto a brake ( I couldnt get the wheel off cuz I have lock nuts and two broken keys) so that rotor is a f***ed up, I need a fuel pump, and my suspension is messed up. And it has been totalled 3 times, but it doesn't look like it has been. my question is, do you guys think I should invest the time and money into this car or should I just sell it for what I can get and move on to something else?

matters if you have emotional attachment or not...get a new one like all my buddies do with their 240s, civics, and accords (**** on hondas...made to be worked on by wimps!) and use the best parts on the new one or vice versa.
on the other hand, youll have to do that **** to the new one anyway if you want it to reach its full potential; driving up intake drives up fuel injection, so youll need a more powerful fuel pump anyway if you get too much horsepower..., and driving up fuel consumption does all sorts of ****...your o2 sensors are going to act weird for a while because of all of the excess gas coming out and your ecu will ask some questions about the HCL and o2 levels within the exhaust air and your injectors are going to get used more, etc. trust me, all of this has happened to me just by replacing the intake, putting 3 inch headers and exhaust/muffler on, and replacing the ecu.
if you get a new one, make sure its a 92-94 se manual 5-speed; if had done everything i did to my gxe automatic to a manual 5 speed dohc, it roughly would be that much quicker.
almost worth buying a fast car already put together that is made for that wear and tear...but theres nothing like pulling up to some punkass mustang and beating its unsuspecting ***....mwa ha ha ha
