Changing out keypad

Changing out keypad

How hard is it to change out the drivers side keypad? What steps do i need to follow?

open door panel
unscrew screws from keypad
cut wires
solder wires from new one
install new one
reinstall door panel

how many wires are there to cut and resoder?

2 wires and there should be 2 screws you use to take out the keypad. Also a magnetic screwdriver is nice and someone with small hands. I think there is a red and black wire to resoder it should be in the middle.
