Replacing Driver axle seal

i got my seal from carquest, i cant seem to be able to get the old seal out . i dont have time or money to get the seal puller. i heard something about using a screwdriver and prying out? i dont care if i damage the old seal, i just need to get it out.

Thanks

Get some silicon spray. Get a pick, which is a small tool that looks like a screwdriver, but with a pointed tip. Poke it into the seal, and then pry it out.

Before you install the new seal, put it in the freeze for about an hour, Tat will make it shrink just a little so that putting it back on is a little more mangable
