I don't know...I paid $4k for mine in August 2003 with 87k mi. It is a GXE, but I can count the number of times it has been driven in snow on one hand. In retrospect I may have overpaid, but it is my favorite car I've had thus far...

Why can't the 3rd gen be a collectable? Wasn't it best in class, beating or rivaling the king of sport sedans, the BMW 3 series, and setting a standard for japanese sport sedans for years to come? Not mentioning the fact that it had the one and only VE30DE powerplant that was in production for only 3 years. I actually read awhile back in a C&D or M/T that the name "four door sports car" was given to Nissan by BMW in a speech as a joke when they found out about Nissan's plans for specifically attacking the 3 series with the 3rd gen. When Nissan heard this, as a come back, they put that logo on every car.

Heh, I did the same on the highway a few months ago. When we got off, at the next light, he told me he was running rich. Excuses, excuses!
