speaking of hood struts. I had some I thought was strong...it waited to fall until after I took the fender off and was reaching down. There is a sharp piece of sheetmetal sticking up under the fender. My head got pushed into it with a falling hood...I have a scar on my forehead to prove it. I bought new hood struts shortly after that.

 

Where did you get the midpipe at???

 

it was part of my CAI I got off of eBay back when it was dirt cheap and I had to prove to them and others it was for the DOHC instead of the SOHC which it was listed as.

I just had the mid pipe on at that moment though...cant remember why I didnt have the rest of it on.

I bought the $50 set off ebay for my old car. I had to modify the brackets, but they worked excellent. Now I have them for sale if anyone wants to throw out a price.

 

I have the same one.

 

im gonna buy a pair of them when i get more money and when i am done the VE swap...... as for right this second.. my hood is laying beside the car.....
