Steering Problem

Changed out my Passenger axle, both tie-rod ends and repalce a P/S pump.
Lo and behold, It feels like I am driving without P/S, but only in turns. I purchased the lifetime align, so I took it there for good measure hoping that will cure my problem. I still have the same problem...very hard to turn the steering wheel in turns. Does anyboby have any insight on this problem?

Will raising the front wheels have that much impact. I followed the same procedure, but with the wheels on the ground. I hope this solves my problem.
Thanks for your response.
