y pipe question

today i got my VE motor in fits up pretty nicely.... i was very curious and put the y-pipe up to the VE (i have a VG y-pipe) AND IT FIT!!!!!! just a litle gap between the y-pipe and the manifold.....but when you tighten the nuts up... it seems pretty flush with the maifold........ would this work??????? i mean i dont know why it wouldnt... but ya never know... if it does.. it woudl save me tons of money that i dont have.......why wouldnt it fit?????

I think the difference is where it meets the converter, but I may be totally wrong.

hey freak what is the production date of your car?

you know you need a VE cluster now to complete the transformation ( which I happen to have for sale)

if you would have had a 6/91 production date then you could have claimed to have the earliest known VE
