That's a nasty car. What is there left? Seats looks decent but who wants tan? i have never even seen a 3rd gen with that color interior. Body has damage, motor makes noise interior is shot. But I bet it rolls nicely down hill.

I'd probably part it. No matter how bad it is you couldn't go wrong for $79 plus their fee unless you spent a fortune trying to fix it up.

I am being tempted to not buy it then convert to 5-speed. It's 15 minutes away. I'll see in 3 days I can easily fix it up and the body damage look minimal. I like tan interiors also as long as it's leather.

That would make a great winter beater, and it would be fun having a car you don't need to care about. As long as it drives fine, for that price it doesnt need to last that long.

Then again the mileage is 250+ and remember that good ole rust. This is in CT weather and CT is a salt state. So that is behind my reasoning to not bid.

Heres an idea, how about we all chip in a buck, buy it and park it on a lake somewhere and bet on what day it falls thru, the .orger with the closest guess to when it falls thru wins the pot ;-)

I'm down for that

except for the whole enviromental thing.

I'm by no means a tree hugger, but car + lake/river/ocean/etc, not really a good combo.

but if some local guy wanted to buy it and do the old fun rice that crap out because it's only $80, I'd chip in a few bucks if they did it and put MrGone on it . Someone local should buy it and make a thread for mod suggestions and just have fun with it

some on can have my 89 se. It was a 5 speed and it donated nessicary parts and small stuff to my build. Some one can have it for $50.

Its uh a little beat up. But hey its mostly flat black, has only manifolds and a y pipe, and tinted windows!
