HELP alarm trouble!!!!

HELP alarm trouble!!!!

ok whenever i go out to my 92se and hook the battery cable back up the alarm goes off. the bat cable is disconnected because my brother last night got in the car to go somewhere and the alarm just contunied on and on!!!

how can i disable the factory alarm? and or reset it?

Hook the battery back up then stick the key in the driver lock and unlock the door...

had the same thing happen to me on my 94gxe, just have to unlock the door turn the key both ways to make sure

What he said....and it that doesn't shut it off try the trunk with the key or the passenger side door. If none of those turn it off then you might as well disconnect it by unplugging it under the dash to the left of the steering wheel. If the alarm turns off by unlocking the trunk or passenger door but not the driver's door, replace the unlock sensor in the door and the alarm will still be good.

i'v tried the door method it doesn't work.
only the driver's door key hole works and it doesn't turn it off...
i have no desire to replace anything on this car. she's my beater and i only fix what i have to...
i havn't tried the trunk yet but i'm at work...
i want to perimently disable it. if i unplug the module under the dash to the left of the steering wheel will that turn it off forever?
