I just installed some clear corners on my 92 SE. They look great, but they don't exactly match the headlights. What I mean is that the headlights are not as shiny as the clear corners. Even in daylight you can see the difference. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? Do I have to buy new headlights so that they match my clear corners? or is there something else I can do? How much will new headlights cost me (not the bulbs, but the actual lamp itself)?

thanks!

I have the same problem and I would also like to know the answer. My corners are nice and shiny, but the heads look flat and dull.

I bought new headlights from directpart.com.....They cost me 150.00 shipped, they look sooo much better than the stock headlights, Major difference in visability also...
But if you dont have the $$$$ to do that, you can take them off and ry to clean them.....Good Luck

yes...

I just got some clear corners at the NE Max meet and put them on right there, they look awsome, a lot better then the stock corners, (especially since they already have the edge painted black) but yea, the headlights are more clear... corners aren't supposed to be as clear in the first place I guess. it's that way on most cars....

The headlights look dull from the 7-12 years of sandblasting they get every trip down the highway. The only thing you can do is buy new lights.

I knew there was a reason I keep my headlight blackout on my car.

I like blackouts but I would rather let the world see my bright headlights with the xenon gas-filled bulbs.

Since GTS makes a clear variant, I might get those as well for highway driving. I need a new set of the blackouts becuase mine have taken a good sandblasting and have cracks in them.

I think all you need to do is get some PIAA bright light bulbs. I just got some and they're very bright white. Match up with the clear ones.
