Saying hello to another max

Call it obsessive, but I just bought my 6th maxima. Its a 1991 SE 5spd, Maroon, and wow, it looks better than all the other ones I have owned. Owned by an ORGer in St. Joe, MI.

So obviously, a few questions;

Steering - have to hold the wheel slightly turned to the right in order for it to go straight, but the CVs are good. New Tie-Rods as well. It hit a curb pretty hard a year or so ago, and possibly bent something (fender sticks out slightly farther than door) Would that have anything to do with it? Any other ideas?

Rust - It is all the way through behind rear wheel well, so that you can stick your hand through the hold. Weld up a sheet of steel or fight the dealer?

Thats all for now, thanks for any info you may have.

might just need a alignment to fix the steering

i would fight the dealer first but if you get know where just cut out the rust and weld some new metal in

yeah, 6th one. I buy undervalued cars and resell them for more, and thats what the GXEs and SE AT were for. So techincally I have had 3 for personel use.

MAybe, check and see if the control arms are okay, also, with the New Tie-Rod ends, it could be something as simple as an improper toe setting by whoever did it.
